Kootenay Virtual Reality is now open Thursday through Sunday 2:00 till 10:00 pm

As our community deals with  the impact of the Coronavirus, we feel it is important to share with you what KVR is doing to ensure the safety of our customers. As our regular customers know, we have always had a extensive cleaning procedure in place and now have increased our efforts  following all government recommendations.
What Kootenay Virtual Reality is doing

• Maintaining high sanitation standards by continually cleaning and disinfecting all of our gear after EVERY customer
• We have brought in a hospital grade UV-C light for added disinfection of all headsets and controllers.
• We have 2 air purifier towers from Guardian Technologies which contain a Hepa filter and a UV light for
  virus elimination helping to keep our studio's air cleaner.
• Now providing sanitary face cover masks to reduce where skin contacts VR equipment
• Ensuring all commonly used surfaces such as door handles, light switches, are sanitized frequently
• Asking customers to wash hands for at least 20 seconds or use the hand sanitizer provided before using VR equipment.
• Book our 4 stations for people within your bubble and we will restrict the public from entering our studio during your time with us. To request this service please call 250-428-5443 Thursday-Sunday 2:00-10:00.
• Our double booth is only available to people within your own social bubble.
• There will be a limit of four players allowed in the building at one time.
• Allowing only one customer per headset. No sharing of stations
• Instructing anyone not feeling well to stay home out of an abundance of caution
• Allowing reservation rescheduling and waiving cancellation fees that are due to any illness
